The role is responsible for reliable, timely and accurate reporting and financial closing. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations. --- Perform accounting calculations I line with IFRS and process accounting journals in relevant system. --- Participate in month end close activities. --- Ability to work independently and prioritize to ensure deadlines are achieved. --- Ensure the Record to Report Manager remains up to date of process issues. --- Assist in the Internal and External Auditors activities --- Manage allocated work, execute efficiently and constantly improve process. --- Be involved in learning and development activities, including setting a personal development plan. --- Adopt the service culture and customer service orientation in the team. --- Team with others in finance and business operations --- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives with the team. --- Operate within Sage internal compliance guidance. --- Ensure that all regulatory compliance including accounting standards are adhered to --- Contribute to the understanding, reporting around team KPIs and process controls as per Service Management Framework --- Keep abreast of industry and company trends to keep up to date with future market developments. --- Participate in departmental/company-wide projects as required. Must have: --- 5 years minimum experience in General Ledger accounting and reporting experience, preferably in a technology environment --- Experience in a service- oriented culture including working within SLAs --- Experience in working in a dynamic environment --- Experience in IFRS accounting preferred. --- Experience using SAP, Intacct and HFM is strongly preferred --- Business oriented and can demonstrate great business understanding, analytical and with a real eye for detail. #Li_SH1 FunctionFinance Operations CountryUnited States Office LocationLawrenceville Work Place typeHybrid
