Senior Project Manager/Business Unit Leader Potential:

Multifamily Renovation and Restorations Organization

Annual Salary: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year (Depending on Experience-Plus Performance Based Compensation)

Our client is a highly successful national renovation and capital improvement contractor. Focused on building long-term relationships with targeted regional and national owners and property managers based on delivering superior service and value. They have mature business units in the retail and hospitality markets with successful but limited efforts in the multi-family space to date. The Senior PM/Business Unit Leader role will leverage off our proven track record and operational platform to lead efforts to build out our client base in the multi-family market. This role is the foundation of this company to deliver high-quality renovation projects to their clients. This role is the first line of contact that represents the brand and stellar culture of the company. Below is the minimum expectation of a team-member of this company:

The Sr. Project Manager Standard Duties Include:

Development of long-term client relationships along with senior leadership team. End to End operations and planning of contracted projects. Developing estimates and bids for renovation projects and change orders. Reading plans and specifications. Understanding and navigating building codes. Delivering a first-time quality project while maintaining a safe project site according to OSHA and Company guidelines. Designing solutions for project issues as they arise. Operating company Project Management System.

Facilitating Renovation Process Including but Not Limited to:

  • Customer and internal schedule development and management throughout the project . Proactive communication and in process adjustments as needed
  • Negotiate pricing and supplier/sub agreements through purchasing and competitive bidding practices
  • Mobilization and demobilization of equipment, materials and site resources
  • Coordinating Sub Contractor Work Flow
  • Maintaining material inventory and coordinating project necessities
  • Developing and gaining approvals for invoicing
  • Reviewing and adhering to project budgets during project
  • Project close out and review
  • Maintain document repository in project tracking software
  • Maintain project binders and Project Management Software
  • Comfortable traveling and working in fast-paced, high-expectations environment to lead the business unit by example in terms of work ethic, expertise and ethical business practices.

    Skills Required:
    • Multi family specific renovation and/or construction experience.
    • Strong understanding of job cost management and diligent budgeting and scheduling project controls.
    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for communication with clients and internally
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with a focus on Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Working knowledge of Construction Operations, Job Site and Project Management
    • Strong math and accounting skills
    • Ability to read and navigate plans and specifications
    • Detailed oriented and Goal Driven
    • Self-motivated and willing to travel

      Education Needed:
      • 10 years construction/renovation related work experience
      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • College degree is preferred

        OSHA And Other Related Certifications Preferred
