Job Description:
Tax Attorney – Real Estate/Affordable Housing We are seeking an
exceptional Tax Attorney to join our dynamic team, supporting our
leading Affordable Housing practice. This is a unique opportunity
to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team serving developers,
investors, lenders, syndicators, nonprofits, and public entities,
blending sophisticated tax work with meaningful community impact.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide transactional and business-focused
tax expertise in a law firm setting, with a focus on partnership
tax and exempt organization/nonprofit matters • Utilize expertise
in private public partnerships in housing/urban renewal, LIHTC
(Section 42), and historic and new markets tax credits • Develop
and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal
stakeholders • Contribute to the growth and development of our
Affordable Housing practice Requirements: • 5-20 years of
experience in a law firm setting, with a focus on transactional and
business-focused tax • Strong academic credentials and outstanding
written and oral communication skills • Demonstrated experience
with partnership tax and exempt organization/nonprofit matters •
Exposure to LIHTC (Section 42) and historic and new markets tax
credits is a plus • LL.M. in Taxation or a degree in accounting or
