*This position is fully remote as long as the candidate resides in CST or EST*Position Overview:The Senior Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing communication strategies and execution for all SiteOne Event activities. Site One executes over 700 events annually, including customer events such as Branch Events, SiteOne University Training Events, Trips & Charity Events, plus meetings and events for SiteOne Associates.
The Senior Marketing Coordinator reports to the Sr. Event Manager, and works closely with event planners, brand marketing and creative and media agencies to develop communication strategies for SiteOne events.
This position will be responsible for crafting value propositions, campaign platforms and messaging and channel strategies to create awareness and drive registration and attendance at SiteOne events.
General

• Actively participate in meetings with event managers and other key stakeholders to identify upcoming events and campaign strategies
• Partner with creative agencies to develop campaign platforms, key messaging, and executions for major event types. Work with agencies to execute campaigns for individual events.
• Partner with channel owners and agencies to develop channel strategies (owned, earned, paid). Channels include website, email, SMS, PR, social, paid media.
• Develop and maintain campaign budget and calendars
• Analyze marketing activities to gauge impact and report ROI. Manage agencies to optimize campaigns.
• Develop event registration websites using event registration software (Cvent)
• Represent the company and brand with a high level of integrity and professionalism.

    • 4-5 years in marketing communications or marketing/advertising agency role
    • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent experience
    • Strong understanding of events and their role in marketing mix
    • Great communication skills, including presenting and developing creative briefs
    • Planning and project management skills
    • Entrepreneurial personality a must
    • Event Management Software (Cvent preferred)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Understanding of Smartsheet's
    • Understanding of Creative Intake Software (Basecamp, Ignite, Lytho, In Motion,Workfront)
    • Marketing or Advertising agency experience preferred
    • Report best practices and provide recommendations to optimize marketing programs
