transportation required) Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 / year

Summary B2 Constructors is seeking an experienced Senior Project
Manager to lead commercial construction projects from
preconstruction planning through execution and closeout. This role
owns project scope, schedule, budget, risk controls, and
stakeholder communications while mentoring project teams and
ensuring high-quality, safe, compliant delivery. The Senior Project
Manager is critical to delivering predictable outcomes across
diverse project types and to strengthening B2’s operational
discipline as the company expands into private markets. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans
covering scope, schedule, budget, resources, procurement, and risk
management. Establish and maintain effective working relationships
with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within
budget through disciplined controls and proactive issue resolution.
Develop and maintain project schedules (MS Project and/or Primavera
P6) and enforce schedule adherence throughout the project
lifecycle. Lead and mentor project teams, including project
managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors. Delegate
responsibilities appropriately, set clear expectations, and drive
accountability across the team. Foster a collaborative,
high-performance environment that supports consistent execution and
development of others. Ensure construction activities comply with
quality standards and project specifications. Conduct regular site
inspections and audits; identify deficiencies and implement
corrective actions. Maintain a repeatable quality approach that
reduces rework and improves closeout performance. Identify, assess,
and document project risks; implement mitigation strategies and
adjust plans as conditions change. Monitor risks through the
lifecycle, with emphasis on safety, schedule, cost, subcontractor
performance, and compliance. Prepare and manage project budgets;
track costs, forecast impacts, and implement cost control measures.
Approve and process change orders; ensure financial reporting
accuracy and timely documentation. Submit monthly pay applications
and review/approve subcontractor monthly pay applications. Provide
consistent updates to clients, senior management, and other
stakeholders regarding status, risks, and decisions. Lead project
meetings, prepare progress reports, and drive timely issue
escalation and resolution. Oversee negotiation support,
preparation, and administration of contracts and subcontract
agreements. Ensure contractual obligations are met; manage disputes
and document outcomes to protect the business. Ensure all
activities comply with safety regulations and standards; promote a
culture of safety on every project. Ensure compliance with local,
state, and federal regulations and applicable building codes.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts,
change orders, correspondence, logs, and progress reporting.
Prepare and submit required regulatory and compliance
documentation. Identify opportunities to improve project controls,
workflows, and standards; implement best practices. Stay current on
construction technology and industry trends; drive adoption where
it improves execution outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s
degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a
technical field. Minimum 10 years of commercial construction
project management experience. Proven experience managing
large-scale projects across sectors (restaurant, industrial,
residential, government, healthcare). Highly proficient in MS
Project and/or Primavera P6. Proficient with Procore and certified
as Procore Admin and Project Manager. Strong knowledge of
construction methods, materials, and regulations; working
familiarity with BIM and related construction technologies. Strong
leadership, team management, and stakeholder influence
capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication; strong
analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated competence in budgeting, cost control, forecasting,
and financial reporting. Thorough knowledge of local, state, and
federal regulations and building codes. Willingness to travel to
project sites as needed; valid driver’s license and reliable
transportation. Comfortable using CRM software. Ability to work
with minimal direction; consistently demonstrates critical
thinking, accuracy, and attention to detail. Proficiency in takeoff
tools (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, FastPipe, FastDuct, Bluebeam,
PlanSwift). Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Quick Bid,
HeavyBid, Stack or similar). Note: Excel-only estimating is not
considered sufficient for this role. Ability and willingness to
work overtime and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. OSHA 30
certified within the last five years, or ability to
obtain/recertify prior to hire. Preferred Qualifications PMP
(Project Management Professional), CCM, or similar certification.
Mechanical project management experience. Private sector project
management experience. Experience with vertical commercial
construction (office buildings, retail, healthcare facilities,
educational institutions). Strong knowledge of local building codes
and regulations specific to the operating region. Work Environment
/ Schedule Full-time, in-office position based in Marietta, GA,
with project site travel as required. Combination of office-based
planning/control work and active construction site environments.
