Drawing details include all views and dimensions necessary for clear and accurate presentation. You will apply knowledge of design practices and interact with Engineers to solve design issues.----How you'll make an impact as a Jr. CAD Operator:Implementing and maintaining CAD standards for the companyWorking alongside Junior and Senior CAD Technicians and follow established CAD standardsGeneral QA/QC of CAD work performed by CAD StaffSet up and manage Microstation workspace for projectsWork with other CAD Staff on redline draftingEfficient and accurate drafting with adherence to CAD standardsCoordinate drawing files and electronic transmittals with ClientsElectronic Project File Management--Project Design (within skill set and direction of Project Manager or Project Engineer)Personal Continuing EducationWhat it takes to be successful as a Jr. CAD Operator:Associate Degree in Technical Drafting (Preferred)--Minimum 1 years' experience in fieldMinimum 1 years' experience working with MicroStation CAD/project file management softwareExperience and competence on design software such as Geopak and/or OpenRoadsClear and concise verbal and written communication skillsSome knowledge of general engineering practices and methodsConditions of Employment:Applicant will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record Check. Satisfactory driving records are required for driving company or personal vehicles and motor driven equipment to conduct company business.Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
