Job DescriptionWe are interested in developing long-term relationships with superior instructors who have high professional standards, excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to providing the finest practitioner-focused education.We are seeking primarily Industry Professionals to share their knowledge and experience with undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Stockbridge, GA.Fundamentals of Microbiology with Lab (BIOS- 242)We are currently seeking anonsite Microbiology Instructorfor the July 2025 session at our Stockbridgecampus. This is an 8-week teaching assignment with in-person instruction requiredtwo days per week.Course Details:

• Schedule:2 days per week (exact days TBD based on instructor availability)
• Format:In-person instruction
• Duration:8 weeks, beginning in July 2025Weekly Onsite Requirements:
  • One 3-hour lecture
  • One 3-hour lab
  • Two office hoursAvailable Teaching Hours:
    
    Monday - Friday
    
    7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible within this range)This course covers basic concepts of microbiology, with emphasison medically important microorganisms and infectious diseases. Alsoaddressed are microscopy, microbial growth and genetics, antimicrobialagents, epidemiology and immune system responses to pathogens.Lab exercises focus on aseptic techniques, isolation and culture ofmicroorganisms, microscopy and staining techniques.Courses meet on campus twice a week, for eight week sessions. This face-to-face interaction is blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for an enhanced learning environment. Commitment is on a course-by-course basis.Qualifications
    • Master's Degree is required for all faculty positions (with 18 graduate hours in the subject being taught for undergraduate teaching). Required
    • Faculty must have requisite subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills.
    • Faculty must also have excellent motivational and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment.
    • Must be able to work in a collegial manner and facilitate the efforts of diverse groups.

      In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $1,120 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
