This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist to support students within a K-12 school setting located in Alpharetta, GA, serving a caseload of approximately 25-35 students across PreK-12th grades. This contract assignment spans the current school year, with an immediate start date and an expected end date of May 21, 2026. The role demands a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week and involves working closely with students requiring physical therapy services within educational environments. Ideal candidates will bring pediatric and/or school-based experience, enabling them to effectively address the unique developmental and therapeutic needs of children and adolescents. Familiarity and comfort with pediatric interventions and collaborating with educational teams are highly valued. The schools served are located in close proximity to Tucker, GA, within Dekalb County, and approximately 15-25 minutes from Atlanta, enhancing accessibility for commuting professionals. Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy interventions to improve students' functional abilities and participation in school activities. The therapist will work directly with students, collaborate with educators, and document progress in compliance with school policies and guidelines.
