active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Physical
Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is needed to
provide specialized therapeutic services to students in grades PreK
through high school. This position is located in Douglasville, GA,
approximately 20 minutes south of Atlanta. The opportunity is a
contract role for the current school year with flexible hours
ranging from 24 to 40 per week, starting ASAP and concluding at the
end of the school year (EOSY). Ideal candidates will have
experience working with pediatric populations and/or within a
school setting. Holding an active Georgia PT or PTA license is
required. This role involves delivering physical therapy services
to support students' mobility, function, and participation in the
educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations
and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students
needs. Collaborate with educational staff to integrate therapy
goals into classroom activities. Provide direct physical therapy
interventions to enhance students physical abilities. Maintain
accurate, timely documentation of therapy services and progress
reports. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other
healthcare professionals as needed. Desired Qualifications: Active
Georgia license as a PT or PTA Pediatric and/or school-based
therapy experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication
skills Ability to work independently and manage caseload
efficiently Availability to work 24 to 40 hours per week during the
