$30.56 Target Bonus: 5.0% Req ID: 26133 Job Requirements • High
school or GED • Vocational High School or Technical College or
Equivalent Experience. • 2-3 years’ workable experience as a Robot
Technician • RIA certified (Basic robot technician) • Intermediate
robot knowledge of 1 type of robot and at least 1 type of welder.
(Lincoln Power supply recommended) Job Responsibilities • Perform
cut & etch on welded parts • Shim weld tooling • Understanding
blueprint/assembly print reading. • Building and disassemble weld
cells • Basic Pneumatic skills • Basic Machining • MIG welding •
Adjusting sensors (advance and retract based on HMI) • Touching up
1 to 2 Robot types • Basic Robot programing • Reading weld prints •
Basic understanding of HMI and PLC interaction with robots and cell
functions. • Basic troubleshooting skills for robot issues and
electrical issues. (wire stick, minor alarms, blown fuses and
sensor issues on tooling.) • Capable sending individuals on the
road to finish open issue lists and install tooling changes using
prints and work together with controls group to finish jobs abroad
without supervision. • Basic programming of material handling and
spot-welding robots using grippers and spot guns; Capable of
shimming tools to customer gages and can interpret CMM data to make
adjustments to tooling. • Maintain a skills inventory score
indicative of a level II or higher technician • Willing to travel
up to 40% of the time to customer sites • Maintain a skills
inventory score indicative of a level I or higher technician
Essential skills and experience: • Basic understanding of
mechanical components (metric and standard fasteners, socket head
cap screws, button head, hex head, flat head and dowel pins) •
Basic understanding of electrical components, basic use of a volt
meter to check for AC voltage and DC voltage. Environmental Health
and Safety Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) • Understand
the Company’s EHS Policy and how it relates to this job. • Be aware
of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company’s Plant
Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job. • Work in a safe
and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EHS
procedures. • Immediately notify the Supervisor if there is any
safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there
are any questions regarding EHS procedures. • Attend required EHS
