Job Description:

In combination with the rest of the management team and RO Hospitality s stated policies & procedures, the following responsibilities are expected of this position: Strategic Operations: Achieve profitability and performance goals set by ROH Achieve service performance goals & metrics that profitably grow the business while strengthening our core brand and hospitality-focused culture Build and sustain a culture adhering to ROH values and performance standards Build guest-rapport and a guest-oriented culture that generates repeat business Restaurant Operations: Establish policies and procedures that not only enable smooth nightly service operation: * Managing the flow of reservations and service * Touching tables, as appropriate * Ensuring service quality and standards * Staffing appropriately * Training and educating staff Responsibly and reliably open/close the restaurant and handle cash Communicate closely with the back-of-house to ensure excellent hospitality Write a schedule that meets business demands while achieving budget goals Exert independent discretion to hire, fire, discipline, assign & direct work to, and recommend promotion of employees according to ROH standards and procedures Execute a bev program that achieves cost targets and supports restaurant s concept: *ordering, receiving, and securing beverage product *create educational documents and staff training *conduct periodic inventories Monitor guest feedback and respond as appropriate, including service recovery Oversee facilities cleaning, side work, repairs, etc. as appropriate Ensure the completion of HR documentation as appropriate, including: *New hire documentation and tax forms *Progressive discipline *Beverage pouring permits Human Resources & Staff: Exert independent discretion to hire, fire, discipline, assign & direct work to, & recommend employee promotion according to ROH standards and procedures Educate staff on procedures, product knowledge, sanitation, and workplace safety Manage acceptable labor cost through effective scheduling and planning Leadership & Management: Increase restaurant sales, execute well-run and exciting events Advise on a food & beverage program that meets all profitability goals and fits the conceptual needs of one of Atlanta s premier restaurants Attract, identify, hire, train, and retain excellent employees
