We are currently accepting applications for a full-time practice manager for our hospital. About Our Hospital Vickery Animal Hospital is a small animal exclusive practice established in 2011. We are currently a 2.5 Full time Equivalent clinic, and growing rapidly. All of our veterinarians are fear free certified. We pride ourselves on leveraging our highly skilled staff and advanced diagnostic equipment to provide top notch care. There are three primary points to our mission. First, we focus on understanding the individual needs of our patients, and providing care based on those needs. Second, we invest time getting to know our clients in a way that builds trust in our care. Lastly, we are committed to making the entire process easy for our clients. About Our Community Cumming is located in rapidly growing Forsyth County. Our schools are some of the top-rated schools in the state. There is a plethora of nearby amenities including Lake Lanier, The Appalachian Mountains, and the city of Atlanta. We are fortunate to live in an affluent suburb. Our clients generally have the resources to be able to provide A-level treatment for their pets. About The Position The purpose of our practice manager is to oversee the business activities of the hospital. These duties include hiring and training hospital staff; working with the owner to prepare budgets; monitoring key performance indicators and setting fees; maintaining inventory and an inventory control system; managing the hospital software; and implementing safety and security procedures. The practice manager must create and maintain a positive culture and work environment. They must be creative, but able to develop and implement practical programs. The practice manager must assist ownership with all accounting and financial control functions, including financial planning, budgeting, control and reporting systems, and financial analyses. About The Opportunity Over the last 3 years, our hospital has transitioned form a single doctor practice into a multi doctor operation with all of its complexities. The right candidate will have the opportunity to have significant input on the design of all of our systems to manage these complexities and improve efficiency.
