program is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director to
lead and manage the Learn section of our entrepreneurship
initiative. The Learn section is dedicated to educating students in
entrepreneurship through experiential courses such as Startup Lab
and the Jim Pope Fellows program, fostering an entrepreneurial
mindset across campus. The Associate Director will play a strategic
role in developing and delivering programs that inspire students to
explore entrepreneurship and acquire the skills needed to launch

- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Learn
section, ensuring the effective delivery of programs, courses, and
events that align with the mission of CREATE-X.
- Collaborate with faculty, instructors, and industry
professionals to develop curriculum content, workshops, and
training sessions that enhance the entrepreneurial learning
experience.
- Recruit, manage and mentor instructors, teaching assistants,
and student mentors involved in the Learn program, fostering a
culture of innovation and excellence.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with internal and external
stakeholders, including industry experts, alumni, and
entrepreneurial communities, to enrich the student learning
journey.
- Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for
students participating in entrepreneurship courses such as Startup
Lab and Jim Pope Fellows.
- Oversee and manage process to register courses in respective
semesters.
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, including student
engagement, progress, and course effectiveness, and implement
data-driven improvements as needed.
- Plan, organize, and execute events, speaker series, and guest
lectures that connect students with real-world entrepreneurial
experiences.
- Contribute to outreach and marketing efforts to increase
awareness and participation in the Learn program among students,
faculty, and the broader community.
- Oversee program budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient
resource allocation to meet program objectives.
- Manage the gathering and reporting of data and key metrics to
overall program goals.
- Stay informed on trends in entrepreneurship education and
integrate best practices to continually enhance the Learn section's
offerings.
- A bachelor's degree in business, entrepreneurship, education,
or a related field.Extension Professional II
- A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or a
related field and three (3) years of relevant full-time experience
after completion of that degree, or
- A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or a
related field and five (5) years of relevant full-time experience
after completion of a bachelor's degree, or
- A Doctoral degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or
a related field.Senior Extension Professional
- A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or a
related field and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experience
after completion of that degree, or
- A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or a
related field and nine (9) years of relevant full-time experience
after completion of a bachelors degree, or
- A Doctoral degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or
a related field and four (4) years of relevant full-time experience
after completion of a bachelors degree.Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in program management, entrepreneurship
education, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership
or supervisory capacity.
- Deep understanding of entrepreneurship principles and
experience working within startup ecosystems, either in a
university setting or the private sector.
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and strategic
planning skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with
distinct stakeholders, including faculty, students, alumni, and
industry professionals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the
ability to engage and inspire students and partners.
- Experience in developing and implementing educational programs
or curriculum design is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Georgia Tech -s entrepreneurial ecosystem or
similar university programs is an asset.The University System of
