Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Male--CAREGivers to become part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. We--currently have available shifts in the stockbridge,Conyers and Lawrenceville area .The shift is normally 4 to 12 hour shifts , sometimes split shifts for one given client..The client is in need of a caregiver who can handle his weight and engage in conversation. This client needs assistance with personal care and being transferred. If you are seeking to help enhance someones life and work part-time or full- time this is a great opportunity... Don't wait Apply today!Here are just a few of the things you will be responsible for doing during this shift :Provide companionship and conversation for someone suffering from Dementia.Do light housekeeping tasks dailyPreparing meals designed for clients current level of careProvide medication reminders, making sure medication is refilled and taken on time.Assist with personal care needs , such as changing briefs, sponge baths, grooming, dental care and helping with dressing.Transport clients to appointments and assist with errands/shoppingLaundry which includes changing out the linens on the bed.encourage client to engage in exercises that will help with strength.Be comfortable with working around animals and assisting in feeding them and changing their water.encouraging client to go for walk around the neighborhood.
