Piedmont is looking for a full time General Cardiologist to work 5 days a week in the Blairsville outpatient clinic. This is an established office with four experienced General Cardiologists, equipped with onsite imaging capabilities. Minimum call coverage for Union General Hospital, walking distance from the outpatient office. Union General is a 48 bed, county owned hospital providing a wide range of services rarely available in small communities, including:
  • Chest Pain Certified Emergency Department, certified by the ACC
  • Only hospital in Georgia considered a Rural Hospital with Advanced Heart Failure Certification
  • Cardiac CTA Program lead by local cardiologist, tied directly into Piedmont Atlanta Hospital
  • Qualified Advanced Emergency Cardiac Care Facility
