• Staff responsible for the care of immediate post-surgical patient recovering from general anesthesia. PACU experience is required. Variety of surgical procedures performed, i.e., Gyn, ENT, Ortho, General, and Bariatrics.
  Staffing/Patient Ratios vary with acuity level of the patient.
  
  Call: One 11P-7A on-call shift Monday-Friday every 2 weeks. One 12-hour on-call shift Sat. or Sunday, Days or Nights every 28 days
  
  ACLS, BLS, IV start required
  
  **Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in specialty being submitted to**
  ** Must have GA or Compact license in hand**
  NO non-billable orientation
  Must not have been perm with Northside within the last 12 months.
  
  1 - if your traveler is requesting 48 hrs - we are not accommodating that at this time.
  2 - if your traveler is requesting block scheduling - we are not accommodating that at this time.
  3 - Northside has NOT mandated the vaccine - send all applicants.
  4 - Watch time off and negotiate that prior to submittal, a reasonable time off for an 8 wk is no more than 5 days and preferably spread out not in a row in order not to miss shifts
  5 - Many of our units require EOW your traveler will at least have to work one weekend per month on almost all of our units do not send travelers that are NOT willing to work weekends.
