Performs various tasks and duties to provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during surgical procedures. REQUIRED:1. Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or at least 5 years of experience in an OR setting working as a Surgical Technician or Surgical Technologist. 2. BLS Note: As of February 7, 2016, employees currently in the Surgical Technologist role are considered grandfathered and are therefore not required to meet the educational requirements of this job. PREFERRED:1. Certification in Surgical Technology. 2. Surgical Technologist with one (1) or more years of experience.
