  Med Surg Travel RN• Plan, execute, and evaluate patient care plans in consultation with the health care team. • Evaluate medical information and provide direct care to pre- and post-surgery patients.• Monitor patients' vitals and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner. • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.• If necessary, respond to medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.• Availability to work the facility's required schedule.• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.• Also referred to as: medical surgical registered nurse, M/S nurse, med surgical nurse.
  
  Job Requirements• 1+ year of experience as a Med Surg nurse• Graduate from an accredited nursing school• Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing• BLS certification required• May require ACLS certification
