Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to perform diagnostic examinations and treatments. This position requires thorough knowledge of radiologic technology and safety protocols to ensure that all procedures are conducted with the utmost safety and accuracy. Prepare patients for radiologic examinations by explaining the process, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort. Operate and adjust imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images. Follow prescribed safety procedures to protect patients and staff from undue exposure to radiation. Evaluate images for quality and ensure proper identification and documentation. Work closely with radiologists to determine if additional images need to be taken. Maintain patient records and radiologic equipment. Adhere to departmental protocols, policies, and procedures. Assist in the training of new staff and radiology students. Proficient in the use of radiologic imaging equipment, including X-ray, MRI, and CT. Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and procedures. Knowledge of radiation safety measures and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
