Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-Ray Tech to join our medical imaging team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging studies using X-ray technology, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the equipment's operation and hygiene protocols. If you have a keen interest in radiologic technology and patient care, this role provides a vital function in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect them from excess radiation exposure. Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors based on specifications of examination. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the scanning process. Operate or oversee operation of radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Record, process, and maintain patient data and treatment records, and prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation. Maintain equipment and manage the inventory of supplies. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to conclude diagnostic procedures.
