Registered Nurse (Neuro Stepdown) – Georgia Start Date: February 2,
2026 Location: Atlanta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM start time;
weekend shifts required; block scheduling not available Highlights:
Neuro stepdown specialty unit with dedicated patient population
NIHSS stroke assessment and neurological monitoring required EPIC
electronic medical record system in use Minimum 2 years of neuro
stepdown or strong medical/surgical stepdown experience required
Competitive candidate interviews conducted by nursing management
Immediate need with early February start date Requirements: Active
RN license with Nursys verification NIHSS (National Institutes of
Health Stroke Scale) certification required ACLS (Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support) certification current and valid
Minimum 2 years of neuro stepdown experience; strong
medical/surgical stepdown nurses with NIHSS and stepdown exposure
may be considered EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred Complete
work history with no gaps exceeding 60 days Current skills
