Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Fayetteville, Georgia,

12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Compact or state license
required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience
in Med/Surg nursing - Proficient in telemetry monitoring - Ability
to manage patients with various diagnoses Description: Diagnoses
include but are not limited to TIA, stroke, anemia, UTI, chest
pain, and other general medical surgical patient populations.
Weekend work is required every other weekend. No call required.
Floating within the facility and within the scope of practice may
be necessary as needed. If one major holiday occurs during the
assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two
major holidays occur during the assignment period, the traveler is
expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays occur
during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two
of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence
Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full
compliance is required to start on time. Travelers are expected to
provide two supervisory references at the time of submission.
Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. The daily census
for the unit is approximately 12 patients with a patient ratio of
6-7 at night. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical
therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy,
radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and
unit secretary. Specialized skills required include central line
blood draw, blood product administration, and the interpretation
and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with mood disorders and
substance withdrawal is preferred. Travel experience is not
required but is a plus. Candidates should have a strong
understanding of rapid response and code team protocols. 5 Benefits
