Position Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology
Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours
per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: GA or Compact
license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT (R)(CT) Must-Have:
- Experience with Siemens and Philips CT Scanners - Familiarity
with Epic Medical Records and PACS - Ability to start IVs and
provide excellent patient care Description: Set schedule: Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Patient population includes neonates
to geriatrics. Follow provided protocols and policies to perform CT
scans on inpatients, ER, and outpatient patients. Consent patients
and maintain a positive and productive work environment. Work
collaboratively with technologists, nurses, doctors, and
transporters. Facility is a Level 3 Trauma Hospital with a
substantial number of treatment areas. Daily workload includes
operating 4 rooms with an average caseload of 12-24 per day.
Expected to float within the facility and scope of practice as
needed. Call required for 8 days with at least 2 weeks' notice.
Work required on major holidays if they fall within the assignment
period. Full compliance is required to start on time. Candidates
will be reviewed for clinical fit by clinical staff before final
selection. References from previous supervisory roles are highly
preferred. Scheduled time off is limited to a maximum of 7 days.
Expectations for all employees include being proactive and
self-motivated. Modules required during the orientation period will
vary by specialty. Candidates are encouraged to submit core items
and schedule labs promptly to ensure an on-time start. Requirements
