TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Stockbridge, Georgia, 30281! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current state license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience in
critical care nursing - Ability to manage a maximum patient ratio
of 3:1 Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years.
First-time travelers are accepted. The patient population includes
adults to geriatrics. General diagnoses include ARDS, sepsis,
stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, cardiogenic
shock, gastrointestinal bleeding, COPD exacerbation,
encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and end-stage renal
disease on continuous renal replacement therapy. Block scheduling
is not guaranteed. No travel pairs are allowed regardless of unit
assignments. The nurse should be prepared for the possibility of
managing a third patient. The unit consists of 24 rooms with an
average daily census of 19. Unit systems include Pyxis, Epic, and
SBAR. Scrub color required is navy blue. Must be available to work
every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Floating may be
required within facility/scope of practice as needed. If assigned
during a major holiday, the nurse is expected to work that holiday.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New
Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on
time. A clinical review will determine the candidate's clinical
fit. References from two supervisory sources are preferred,
highlighting managerial experience. The maximum request time off is
7 days. Candidates must submit required items and schedules to meet
