Manage all incoming and outgoing calls, skillfully handling appointment requests and addressing patient inquiries. Demonstrate empathy and attentiveness to understand and meet patient needs effectively. Support office operations by preparing charts, updating records, and assisting with office opening and closing tasks. Maintain inventory and order supplies for contact lenses as needed. Spend dedicated time with patients prior to their doctor visits, performing essential preliminary assessments including measuring retinal function, peripheral vision, and capturing retinal photographs using advanced equipment. Accurately document and organize patient exam notes, order diagnostic tests per the doctor's recommendations, and code procedures precisely. Engage in ongoing cross-training to foster personal and professional growth within the practice.
