(LPN) license and minimum 1 years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A Licensed Practical Nurse
(LPN) is needed for a short-term leave coverage position in an
elementary school setting in Alpharetta, GA. This contract role
starts February 27th, 2026, and lasts through March 2nd, 2026,
providing full-time hours (37.5 per week) to support a 1:1 student
caseload requiring specialized care. Key Responsibilities: Provide
one-on-one nursing care to an elementary student with complex
medical needs Manage J-tube feedings and flushing with precision
and care Perform oral suctioning as needed for excessive secretions
Monitor seizures and use magnet therapy with a Vagal Nerve
Stimulator as prescribed Assist with wheelchair transfers,
including toileting and diapering for mobility-impaired student
Regularly assess and monitor vital signs, ensuring the safety and
well-being of the student Collaborate with school staff and
healthcare providers to maintain appropriate care documentation and
communication Qualifications and Experience: Active Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) license required Experience working in school
nursing or a similar educational healthcare environment preferred
Background in 1:1 nursing care for pediatric patients with complex
medical needs highly desired Familiarity with J-tube feeding,
seizure monitoring, suctioning, and mobility assistance Location:
Alpharetta, GA (Elementary School setting) This assignment offers
