This contract role is based in Whitesburg, KY, and offers the opportunity to work in a focused 34-bed unit with a skilled multidisciplinary team. The position demands at least two years of current Stepdown nursing experience and the ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:5. Responsibilities include utilizing Meditech EMR to document patient care accurately, applying knowledge of BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale protocols, and delivering high-quality nursing care aligned with best practices and facility standards. The role requires maintaining a valid Kentucky or compact nursing license and adherence to COVID-19 vaccination policies or approved exemptions.
