Job Title: RN Clinical Periop Nurse Profession: OR RN Specialty: RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Less than 1 year of experience with direct patient care preferred License: RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact Certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support Must-Have: Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing is required; Bachelors in Nursing is preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills along with customer service skills are required. Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive and respectful manner. Excellent time management skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Description: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team. They ensure that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care. They practice in a clinical environment supported through a shared governance model. RN competencies are derived from these models and supported by core competencies.
