Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse | $58.50 Hourly | 36 hours/week We’re seeking an experienced Neuro Stepdown RN with strong progressive care experience. Ideal candidates are confident managing high-acuity neuro patients, detail-oriented with NIHSS and ACLS protocols, and able to integrate seamlessly into a collaborative neuro stepdown team. Job Details: Location: Atlanta, Georgia, 30303 Contract Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12, weekends required Requirements: • 2 years of Neuro Stepdown or Progressive Care RN experience • NIHSS Certification REQUIRED • ACLS Certification required • EPIC experience required • RN license in Georgia or Compact • No gaps in work history greater than 60 days Clinical Experience Required: • Care of neuro stepdown patients (stroke, post-tPA, seizures, ICP monitoring) • Assessment and management using NIHSS protocols Preferred Experience: • Strong Med/Surg background with stepdown exposure • Experience with telemetry, central lines, and patient education for neuro diagnoses If you meet the requirements and are ready to move forward, reach out for full facility details, interview timeline, and next steps to secure this assignment.
