Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions using evidence-based practice. Deliver relationship-centered care tailored to diverse patient populations while addressing cultural sensitivities. Facilitate effective communication during interdisciplinary rounds, bedside reporting, and patient education. Coordinate safe, quality care through accurate documentation and adherence to clinical practice standards. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, shared governance, and professional development activities. Serve as a mentor/preceptor to nursing staff and students, fostering a collaborative and skilled workforce. Support resources and protocols that optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Maintain compliance with organizational policies, healthcare regulations, and safety goals including TJC Patient Safety Rules. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred. Active RN license (Single State or Multi-State Compact). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Completion of an accredited nursing program with clinical experience. Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and time management skills. Ability to use technology to support clinical care efficiently. Competency to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. Schedule: Day shift: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, primarily Monday to Friday. Rotating weekend call shifts with a 30-minute callback requirement.
