Job Description:
At Holbrook Life, we are dedicated to fostering an environment
where our seniors can enjoy an active, fulfilling lifestyle. We're
looking for an Executive Chef for our EL IL Fine Dining Restaurant
who is passionate about creating culinary masterpieces and tailored
dining experiences for our senior community. The successful
candidate will lead all aspects of the kitchen operations,
including menu creation and meal preparation, ensuring top-quality
products and service in compliance with dietary restrictions and
preferences specific to elderly living. This role requires a deep
understanding of nutritional needs of seniors, impeccable
leadership skills, and a desire to contribute positively to the
residents' overall well-being. Design, implement and continually
renew seasonal menus, integrating dietary needs specific to elderly
residents. Manage the entire kitchen staff, including hiring,
training, and supervising kitchen personnel. Oversee all phases of
food procurement, production, and service, including inventory and
budget management. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety,
and sanitation standards. Cultivate relationships with residents to
tailor culinary experiences to their preferences and dietary
requirements. Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams
to enhance the overall dining service and resident satisfaction.
Expertise in a variety of cooking techniques and cuisine styles.
Proven ability to manage and train kitchen staff effectively.
Strong knowledge of nutrition, especially in relation to the
dietary needs of elderly individuals. Capability to perform well
under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of quality
and hygiene. Excellent organizational, team management, and
communication skills. Certification from a recognized culinary
school. ServSafe certification.
