Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license and advanced fetal monitoring skills. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital - Night shift, 12-hour shifts for a 13-week assignment - Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns - Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and IV insertion - Floating to Antepartum may be required - Returning employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility - No local candidates accepted; must reside at least 50 miles from the facility - Holiday time off is limited; a maximum of 5 days if not near holidays and 3 days if near holidays - Only one holiday request for time off is allowed - Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided prior to start /n /n Requirements/n - Active GA or compact RN license in hand - Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery nursing experience required - At least 2 previous travel assignments in Labor & Delivery - BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required - Competency in fetal heart monitoring, IV insertion, and circulating for C-sections /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-666069.
