This isn't that type of role. As a Business Partner, you'll be keen in strategy, specifically for product and customer operations. Are the leaders progressing their teams? You get to guide them. Each touch point with leaders will aim to improve the performance of the team. Success in this role looks like a powerful influencer, hyper-focused on strategy and an aim to serve as more of a consultant than a therapist. How you'll create a business strategy: --- Step 1: Take initiative. This role holds power. Your ideas will be heard! Dive in and start your research. --- Step 2: Know what you're working with. Align with your three leaders and understand the team. Take note of the good and the bad. Find the gaps and the potential for growth. Be intentional and stay organized. --- Step 3: Use your resources. We have an agile People department to support you. You won't get caught up in the weeds of employee relations. While you may direct traffic, you won't be the solver of these issues. --- Step 4: Develop and deliver advice. You'll confidently present on your well-thought-out strategy for improving People related matters. Leadership is listening to you on how to progress their teams. Be bold! Key Responsibilities8+ years of experience in an HR, having influenced senior leaders/executives through partnership and driven/implemented HR strategy. 2+ years supporting global leaders You gravitate toward strategizing reaching long term goals rather than checking a daily to-do list. Advice giver - People come to you for your excellence. You enjoy being an influencer! Experience in a matrixed business environment and within a People shared services model. You know how all functions of HR work (systems, policies, and relevant legislation, etc.) and are looking for a role that allows you to strategize leveraging these best-in-class HR practices. Bachelor's/Master's degree (nice to have, but not required. We believe experience is key.
