Manage all unemployment (UI) claims for their respective facilities.Ensure Woodgrain policies and procedures are followed consistently.Recommend new policies or changes to existing policies.Collaborate with managers and team members and to assist in resolving workplace issues.Initiate and maintain documents on HR programs and services.Function as a communication liaison; identify and share departmental issues, concerns, and needs with the HR team. Identify--employee relations issues that impede organizational progress; recommend appropriate interventions and/or corrective action. Promote HR programs to create an efficient and inclusive workplace.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelors in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Minimum of 2 years Human Resources experience.Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe applications.Human Resources Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) preferred.
