Job Description:

Adecco Direct Hire is currently recruiting on behalf of its client in the Atlanta, GA area for the position of Business Analyst. The right candidate will have a broad Tier 1 Automotive knowledge of business processes and how we can use the ERP system (PLEX) to automate the processes and report the information we need to run the business. It will be your responsibility to:

*Work with user departments to identify system requirements and solve moderately complex business problems.

*Assist user departments in developing procedures, and train staff on the use of business system.

*Develop an understanding of the business and user needs, capacity and limitations of the equipment and operating times, and establish desired results in order to provide systems solutions.

*You will be responsible for Master Product Data configuration, support, and maintenance for all information systems including: Supply Chain, all Shop Floor, Scheduling, Production, Warehousing & Logistics, Sales, Finance and all office systems.

*You will have a working relationship with all internal departments as well as external ERP vendors and their partne in regards to Business System functionality.

*Master System and Data Configuration - analyze, prepare, and maintain system configuration, and other relevant data, to assure accuracy of business reporting at all times

*Production Models - analyze, prepare and maintain standard data configuration and planning parameters for Material Masters, Bill of Material and Bill of Operations

*Organizational / Application & User Management- analyze, prepare policies / procedures, and maintain standard system configuration and access rights for end users

*Assists the Production Control function in the scheduling of in-house manufacturing.

*Regularly review MRP data and weekly plans for accuracy before execution of purchase orders.

*Assist to maintain system setting and parameters to assure accuracy of demand planning, forecasting, and other functions essential to on time delivery and inventory accuracy.

*Ability to rationalize processes including the heavy demand of Automotive parts data load processes. Loads include PLEX, which is a proprietary data base, and Amazon to vendor templates based on aftermarket ACES and PIES standards.

*Oversee a helpdesk associate or contract service.

*Oversee vendors for telecom and Internet connectivity

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

*Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or equivalent and four year?s work experience.

*Tier 1 Automotive experience a must

*Three to five years manufacturing experience

*Functional knowledge of Automotive specific applications- EDI, PLEX and other IT specific applications

*Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*Knowledge of one or more programming languages and/or databases.

*Skilled user of Visual Studio or similar development and database tools.

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

*Skilled in project management

*Supply Chain Management, JIT, and Flow manufacturing preferred.

*Experience managing vendors for telecom / internet services.

*OEM Tier one Supply, B2B, and B2C experience highly desirable.

*Functional knowledge of the PLEX Product

*Familiar with Microsoft Online services, including Outlook and Share Point.
