Embedded Staff Software Engineer

As a Staff Software Engineer in our Suwanee, GA office you will
develop and maintain real-time embedded software for ARRIS customer
premise broadband devices of embedded software and hardware to meet
customer requirements and industry specifications.
How You'll Help us Connect The World
This role serves as a feature lead in the definition, design,
development, and deployment phases of sophisticated interconnected
products by providing vital software support to project managers
and other project subject areas to ensure project objectives are
being met. As well as independently resolve technical problems,
initiating and validating design changes, and providing engineering
support as per project task needs.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
Bachelors degree in engineering and six or more years of engineer
Full lifecycle software development in an embedded Linux
Proficiency with OSS development tools - git/gerrit, JIRA,
You Will Excite Us If You Have
Experience developing software for embedded router software stacks
- eg OpenWRT, RDKB
Domain expertise in one or more broadband access technologies
(DOCSIS, DSL, PON, Wireless)
Hands-on development of ethernet, WiFi, mesh networking solutions,
Proven experience servicing major broadband providers and MSOs
Integration of broadband SoC vendor reference implementations on
ARM, MIPS, x86
End-to-end systems architecture of managed consumer devices
(SNMP/TR69, remote access, performance telemetry and fault logging,
