Our work depends on a Technical Editor / QA Analyst joining our team to support a CDC program remotely.This role is fully remote!In this role, a typical day will include:

• Document reviews Technical editing and Quality Assurance checks of Word documents, PowerPoint documents, Excel documents and templates. This includes completeness, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
• Capture and review of client and internal meeting minutes.
• Manage deliverables including document management and transmission services
• Perform Accessibility (Section 508) compliance reviews.
• Maintain program templates and best practices for the deliverables process and standards
• Conduct audits and inspections as needed.
• Engage with multiple teams on a near-daily basis.WHAT YOULL NEED:Required:
  • BS or equivalent of 8+ yrs related experience
  • Tools competence: Microsoft Office and Microsoft SharePoint Intermediate to advanced skills
  • Understanding of and experience reviewing for Section 508 and other government compliance regulations
  • Experience applying styles per formal style guides (APA, GPO, DoD, etc.)Desired:
    • Microsoft Visio capability
    • Microsoft Project capability
    • Experience as a trainer
    • Experience with Agile development tools, such as Atlassian Jira and Confluence
    • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skillsAttributes for success:
