As a Truck Driver, you will handle critical freight deliveries, directly impacting our commitment to excellence and efficiency in logistics solutions. Safely operate trucks over intercity routes across regional territories, navigating optimal paths for timely deliveries. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, performing preventative maintenance to ensure readiness for shipments. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Load, handle, and deliver freight in a secure and damage-free manner using necessary tools and techniques. Document and log work/rest periods, retain fuel/toll receipts, and communicate effectively with dispatch teams to report any incidents or deviations from planned routes. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Maintain professionalism and a positive representation of Panther Premium Logistics to customers. Proficiency in the use of GPS devices and other routing technologies. Strong time management and punctuality. Physical stamina and strength required to manage heavy equipment and cargo. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and fuel efficiency. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
