As a Class A Hazmat Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in
safely transporting hazardous materials, contributing to our
mission of protecting the environment and promoting sustainability.
This position requires vigilance, responsibility, and a commitment
to stringent safety standards to ensure the safe delivery of
potentially dangerous goods. Operate Class A trucks according to
federal and state regulations, handling hazardous materials.
Prepare, handle, and transport hazardous materials while ensuring
compliance with all regulations and safety requirements. Perform
routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles to ensure
operational safety. Document actions by completing forms, reports,
logs, and records in accordance with company policies. Act quickly
and responsibly in case of an emergency, employing the training
provided for spill response and containment. Communicate
effectively with dispatch and management to report delays,
accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations. Attend
and successfully complete safety training required by the company
and regulatory agencies. Strong driving record with proficiency in
operating Class A vehicles. Ability to manage and handle hazardous
materials safely. In-depth knowledge of transportation laws and
regulations related to hazmat. High level of physical fitness and
strength, able to handle long periods on the road and manual
handling of heavy equipment when required. Excellent navigational
and emergency response skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial
Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement. Clean driving
record. DOT medical card.
