We serve over 1000 men, women, and children every day by providing food, shelter, clothing, counseling, vocational and spiritual guidance. As a Volunteer Experience Associate, you will serve within our ministry by supporting the Volunteer Experience and organizing events and In-Kind Donations. Note: This is a part-time, temporary opportunity to serve; offering a maximum of 25 hours per week. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Prepare, greet, and host volunteers which could include various partner locations Create and manage all schedules and logistics for service activities Facilitate debriefs for onsite activities with other team members to ensure continued growth Coordinate clean-up at the conclusion of the activity Complete event detail summary of volunteers Assists with stewarding relationships with volunteer coordinators and participating organizations Respond to contact forms, voice messages, and email inquiries Assist in receiving, organizing, and tracking in-kind donations Coordinate with the team and utilize the Volunteer Management System for tracking and assigning volunteers Qualifications You will uphold the following Christ-centered values: Humbly Serve : You strive to live, Love and Lead like Jesus Faithfully Steward : You honor and wisely use the time, talent, and treasures that God has provided Courageously Innovate : You are driven towards excellence, you continuously learn, adapt and improve Joyfully celebrate : You intentionally appreciate and recognize all that God is doing in and through all the stakeholders of Atlanta Mission. Position Requirements: Hospitable, people-person encouraged Project management skills Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently Communicate effectively Flexibility/adaptability to change Ability to engage in diverse cultural settings Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs Position requires standing for long periods of time and to move and walk to various locations, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, reach, pull, push, bend, and twist. Must have the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, and computer printer Special Job Requirements: Personal transportation needed for some travel requirements between campuses Flexibility to host volunteer events during the evenings, weekends, and some holidays
