And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments. CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver Benefits: * Competitive pay: * Average $71,063 per year * Starting pay of .49 cpm * Average of 2,500 miles per week * $20 stop pay * Average 6 to 8 stops per week * Company sponsored per diem program * Dispatched for two to three weeks * Drivers can expect to log 70 hours in 8 days; may have to take a reset on the road * If out for two weeks, two days home. If out three weeks, three days home (typically home on Friday's and out on Monday's) * Dispatches and start /delivery times are received the prior day and assigned to drivers * Deliver trailers loaded with portable storage units to storage centers or Hub facilities * Destination site personnel will unload & reload portable storage * Responsible to strap, unstrap and secure portable storage units and containers * Pick up and deliver in all 48 states; no NYC deliveries * This is an assigned sleeper driver position, may have to do a reset on the road * $18.00 per hour while operating forklift to seldom load and unload (training provided) * Paid time off including 8 paid holidays (after 90 days) * Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $93.95/week for family plans and $36.95/week for individual plans * Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability benefits * Profit Sharing plan allowsyou to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account * Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals * Averitt's fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
