Kelly Science & Clinical has a new contract-to-hire opportunity for a 3rd Shift Lab Tech with a Food company in Calhoun, GA. This is a great way to gain Industry experience!Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Perform physical, microbial, & analytical testing on finished products according to SOPs
• Perform laboratory equipment calibrations and document results
• Communicate any quality deviations with production and management
• Implement all plant GMPs, policies, SSOPs, and SOPs
• Input data into LIMS
• Maintain general upkeep of lab
• Other duties, as assignedYou are a great fit if you meet the following:
  • AS/BS in Biology, Chemistry, or closely related discipling
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Highly organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
  • Able to work overtime as required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, kneel, bend, squat, reach, grip, push, and pullThis position will work 6:00pm - 6:30am on a rotating schedule. Must be able to work all 7 days of the week without conflict to ensure 24/7 operations. Pay is set at $16.00/hr. and is eligible for overtime compensation.
