DESCRIPTION: To provide guidance and training to employees and salespeople in assigned region or account area, which include top tier and strategic account customers. Serve as a resource and escalation point for Sales Support Specialists and Customer Experience Solutionists within the assigned team (Residential Customer Experience/Home Centers). Partner with Customer Service Supervisor to provide scheduling and coaching for team members. RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as a Lead team member, providing cross-functional support to major accounts, and a resource for Customer Service Representatives, Account Coordinators, Solutionists, Sales Support Specialist and other team members. Support Supervisor with department goals and initiatives that improve efficiency, simplify processes, promote teamwork and overall business competitiveness. Monitor workload within team and use discretion to direct tasks to appropriate team members based on skill level and capacity, ensuring balanced workload. Make recommendations regarding training opportunities and performance of team members, to Supervisor and assist with training of new team members. Determine how to ensure timely order releases and proactive follow-up by delegating and coordinating with team members, Sales, and Logistics. Support the optimization of warehouse capacity and positively impact financial results by driving resolution of aged orders. Leverage revenue generation opportunities by upselling accessories when placing orders for customers. Manage unique product offerings that are handled by Account Coordinators and Solutionists. Ensure proper training, procedures, and workload distribution is considered. Offer alternative solutions where appropriate with the objective of retaining customer's business. Leverage relationship with customer to encourage and drive adoption of Mohawk's e-commerce solutions. Perform various account management functions to support flooring projects such as blanket inventory management, monitor open claims, build efficient truckload shipments, and coordinate job-site deliveries with logistics department. (Commercial). Reduce Company cost by converting customers from third party freight carriers to Mohawk fleet through promoting service benefits. Structure content for internal and external correspondence with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders that include reports, presentations, and metrics. Access a variety of customer owned systems and software solutions to download purchase orders and facilitate project invoicing. Lead process improvement projects and other initiatives. Explain trends, recommend changes to, and lead departmental reporting, tracking and other special projects. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Two or four-year college degree in Business or related field, preferred. Minimum of 2 years customer-facing experience preferred. MS Office applications and Email correspondence required. Internal systems including AS400 and SAP preferred COMPETENCIES: Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with senior management and internal/external business contacts Ability to make recommendations and explain policies, guidelines and processing standards. Ability to have challenging conversations in a professional manner; explains and listens to various perspectives. Comfortable with working autonomously to solve complex problems, processes, deal with ambiguity, and make quick decisions. Possess strong organization skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Ability to work in a fast paced, and ever-changing environment. Must be an effective team member that considers the group, as well as individual needs when making decisions. Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team effort. Serves as a role model for others in department when considering attitude, professionalism, and inclusion. Maintain confidentiality when necessary to protect proprietary and team members' information.
