Job Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-2 times per week.

Job Description

The Business Analyst Manager is accountable for maintaining the relationship with the end user (i.e. Business Team/Customer) in key business process threads. You are responsible for eliciting requirements/user stories and representing them to the Enterprise Solutions Delivery and Enterprise Sustain Services teams throughout the systems development cycle. Leads a team and is responsible for staffing, communicating, training and development, directing and prioritization of work, evaluating performance and removing roadblocks. You will lead requirements elicitation and documentation for a significant segment of the business - multiple projects or a major program.

Design, develop, communicate, train and monitor the process and responsibilities of the Product Owners in DEV IT. Mentor the Product Owners to a consistently growing level of maturity as demonstrated by a capability maturity model agreed to by leadership. Design, develop and communicate the performance of the Product Owner function in DEV IT. Daily/Weekly/Monthly backlog levels Daily/Weekly/Monthly areas of concern needing focus for on-time delivery Audit and share quality of work (Epics, Features and User Stories) Ensure the global common D2C platform is realized. Ensure the downstream IT dependencies across the platform are communicated and successful. Ensure the development organizations are happy with the engagement and results from Product Owners. Bring best practices from in and outside of DEV IT. Plan and demonstrate an ever increasing capability maturity of our Product Owner function.

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountable project execution role for Plan through Close as part of the System Development process for projects without a PM or DM (Delivery Manager) Development of business process models, business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional) and product backlogs Ensures comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans are developed/executed and the application is successfully transitioned to production Understands business issues and data challenges of the business Responsible for IT strategy & portfolio development for a business area or functional domain Assist Business with Problem and Incident Management and lead planning to reduce problems/incidents Thorough understanding of the business and in depth knowledge of the overall project portfolio Understands the strategic direction of the organization. Partners with business to set strategic direction of IT applications Leads research on new ideas / initiatives the organization may want to pursue Makes recommendations on what projects should be pursued - "pre-project" go / no-go decisions Provides information around cost / benefit analysis and the feasibility of solutions Impacts the ROI by ensuring the right projects are being invested in at the right time for the right reasons Builds a diverse and effective team by identifying/selecting the best talent. Responsible for directing and prioritizing work, leading performance and providing guidance / coaching to team members. Leads the culture within their team, holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and creates a winning culture.
Knowledge:

Expert understanding of business analyst fundamentals requirements and documentation Expert understanding of Business Process Modeling Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a functional area or business process domain- and data challenges of the org and industry Demonstrates critical skills such as collaboration, strong written and verbal communication skills and analytical capability Leads facilitation sessions with end users, asking probing questions to elicit business process discussion and bring together process flow diagrams Leads portfolio development activities
Critical skills:

Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)/Return on Investment on Analysis, Delivery/Advanced Scheduling /Risk Analysis. Ability to lead change management facilitation with key partners; Ability to develop product and process training for the business; Unique combination of both technical and business insight; Broader strategic/program portfolio analysis and big picture understanding; Accountable for bridging business and IT strategic directions for roadmap development
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.

Master's degree preferred (technical discipline preferred). 12+ years in an applicable business environment
