What You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates expertise and consults with skill on all tools
available (ex: Press Ganey, Huron Rounding, LENS boards, etc.)
Effectively examines data to determine areas of success that can be
shared and taught to other staff or departments for improvement
opportunities, as well as pinpointing issues that may be hindering
positive patient outcomes.
Works directly with Patient Experience director on improvement
processes, including monthly Performance Review Committee meeting
prep, creating and coordinating staff training, HFAP engagement,
Makes telephone contact with patients within 24-48 hours after
discharge to assess patient education, compliance with discharge
instructions, and patient satisfaction.
Contributes to survey response rate by informing and educating
patients in regards to the HCAHPS survey.
Ensures complete and accurate documentation is recorded in the
computerized database for each call.
Assists with administrative duties of printing reports and packets
and ordering of supplies.
Effectively and regularly rounds on departments to build
relationships with staff and observe patient care and huddle
Be an active participant in patient and family complaints received
either by phone, email, letters, in person, at bedside,
AdventHealth "Contact us", or via patient feedback through Press
Ganey. Assists in responding to concerns. Demonstrates clear,
concise communication about patient to other members of the
healthcare team as necessary.
Demonstrates practices to keep all medical record information
protected and confidential.
Follows Patient's Rights Policy at all times.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in
Knowledge of computer systems and applications
Knowledge of medical terminology
Able to multitask and manage projects autonomously
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
Basic understanding of statistical analysis
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two or more years of clinical experience
Two or more years of EMR expereince
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Current RN or LPN nursing licensure in the state of Georgia
Performing a wide range of duties in support to the Patient
Experience and Operational Excellence such as critically examining
patient satisfaction data and working with leaders on process
improvements, education and staff training on patient experience
initiatives, addressing patient and family complaints, creating
positive relationships with employees of all levels, and supporting
