Overview:

automation equipment including digital copiers, thermal media label
stocks, and toner products. Ricoh Electronics Inc is looking for a
3rd shift Machine Operator to join our growing team.
Responsibilities include:
Perform repetitive machine operations on assigned
machines/equipment within the dept. May set up operations on simple
machines.Start, stop and feed assigned machine/equipment, and
identify and report imperfect machine operations.Learn to operate
equipment using department methods and procedures for maintaining
quality and preparing production records.Monitor meters, gauges,
valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls
and follow guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process
specifications.Perform preventative maintenance and autonomous
maintenance to ensure equipment is maintained in safe and efficient
operating condition in order to adhere to production/process
specifications.Maintain safe, clean and environmentally friendly
work area (adhere to all safety and section rules, regulations and
guidelines).
Qualified candidates will possess:
-Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility,
or similar relevant experienceMust be detail-orientedUnderstanding
of production and plant processesAnalytical and numerical skills:
ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract,
multiply, divide) in different units of measurementAbility to
follow written and oral instructionsAbility to work in a
teamAbility to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk
for long periods of timeBasic knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14000
