Posting DescriptionGwinnett/Walton Habitat for Humanity (Lawrenceville, Georgia) is seeking a full-time Volunteer Coordinator to administer our volunteer program in accordance with Gwinnett/Walton Habitat's mission and standard of excellence.Key Responsibilities:Primary responsibilities include:The recruitment, training, scheduling and coordination of workgroups/sponsors and individual volunteers for workdays and special events.Volunteer retention and recognition.Management of community service volunteers.Coordination of home dedication ceremonies.Managing the build schedule.Tracking volunteer hours.Requirements:Qualified applicants need 2 years of volunteer management or non-profit experience.Must be computer literate in MS Word/Excel.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Desire to serve low-income families.The Volunteer Coordinator is expected to be on site with volunteer groups including Saturdays. Service locations can be anywhere in the Gwinnett/Walton counties.Ability to interact well with volunteers on project sites.Ability to manage the administrative components of the volunteer program.Send resume & salary history to info@.
