Some of the reserve power brands include PowerSafe,DataSafe, and Genesis. Our extensive product range serves a variety of reserve power applications and consistently delivers the most effective, powerful and reliable batteries available.Job PurposeManage and ensure the purchasing of materials, services, and/or equipment for the assigned purchasing portfolio, within the set procurement policies and guidelines, to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply at optimum cost within specifications. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEstablish priorities for assigned commodities with key vendors and ensure priorities are maintainedInteract with engineering department to assist in the sourcing of materials, with respect to cost, quality, and availability of materialsGenerate reports per specified processes that measure key buyer performance metricsDevelop specific purchasing material plans for assigned commoditiesReviews customer orders on a daily basisReview purchase orders for accuracyContact potential vendors, perform reference checks, review quotations, and evaluate each purchase requisition for the most appropriate method of procurement.
