The -Operations Supervisor Trainee is responsible for learning and performing efficient and accurate daily operations of the Distribution Center. Our products include wood moldings, decorative trim, and other millwork accessories. This position will learn to oversee the daily activities of personnel, including motivating them to provide quality and efficient performance of their duties in a safe productive environment. - -Operations Supervisor Trainee Position Details:
Pay: $21.00/hourScheduled hours are Monday-Friday, 6am until finish. Saturday work mandated, as needed.BENEFITS

  • Learning and executing daily activities for picking, shipping, receiving, loading, and inventory control departments.
  • Teaching and training of current and new facility personnel
  • Ensuring that our product/service meets or exceed customer expectation
  • Setting productivity goals for warehouse and meeting those goals
  • Responsible for continuous improvement/best practices within his/her facility
  • Ensuring that safety rules and policies are followed by all employees
  • Purchasing and maintenance of warehouse equipment and supplies
  • Supporting Distribution Manager in developing goals and objectives for the Operations.Operations Supervisor Trainee Qualifications:
    2+ years as a Receiving/Inventory Lead, Inventory Management background.Strong knowledge of SAP and receiving procedures.Good leadership and management skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Great decision making and interpersonal skills.Being able to adapt, time manage and resolve conflict.WOODGRAIN is an EEO employer.
