How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As a Database Administrator Intern, you will be responsible for various projects and supporting existing systems. You will work closely with Application Developers/Owners & Unix and Storage Administrators to provide solutions, resolve issues, answer questions about the environment and support future improvements. This role will be based in Suwanee, GA.

You Will Make an Impact By

* Installing and maintaining Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL database software
* Creating storage database structures
* Altering storage structures to meet application or environment needs
* Setting up database user accounts
* Preparing Audit Reports for internal and external auditors
* Training users on how to access data platforms and resolving connectivity issues
* Creating, monitoring, and testing database backups.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

* Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA, or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology from an accredited university
* Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
* Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
